Russell Maxx Lola T530, exc. This car is a factory molded reddish-orange with white #4, from the late 70's to early 80's. It features an OMG armature, 4 magnets (two motor, two traction), 'Corna' rear sponge tires, and 'COAX' body mounts. The chassis appears to be an advancement on the AFX g-plus chassis. Body is hard plastic. This car was designed by Jim Russell, who has done more to advance the slot car hobby and chassis development in particular than perhaps anyone, since the mid '60s. Don't miss this chance to own this already scarce car. Outside of body looks great. One of the front body mount pieces has been broken and repaired with scrap plastic and glue, and the body seems to mount to the chassis fine again, but since this body plastic material is rather delicate, consider this body something to treat with care, not for rough handling. Bottom back half of chassis has some signs of solvent melting or something else, perhaps to set the traction magnets in place. Chassis runs, although the rear sponge tires are dry and should probably be replaced.
Currently have a mint in box one available with some tearing of the cellophane wrapper for $425.00
