AFX Data Race Championship Set This working AFX magnatraction set from 1979 is complete and ready to run. The set box has some surface wear, with some light water stains on the side bottom. Most brands of HO slotcars will work on this set, including AFX, Tyco, Lifelike, and many more. The cars include a square-nosed RC Colar Porsche, in fair condition. Side and wing stickers have wear, and front stickers are missing. Next is a Shadow in white with red, orange, and yellow. It's in fairly good condition with some sticker wear, but all stickers present. Both cars run and have silicone rear tires for good traction, and o-ring front tires. Inside the contents include: 10- 9" radius 1/4 circle curves 2- 15" straights 1- 15" terminal track 10- guard rails (yellow, thin type that fit into slots in the curves) 1- data race control center with sound tower. Sound tower, timer countdown, 100 lap counter, and finish indicator all work. The left side tab on the built-in 15" straight is broken, and 2 metal AFX track repair clips have been provided to give a good connection. Runs on six 'AA' batteries (not included). 1- orange wall power pack, 16 volts (working) 2- controllers (working) 4- pieces of assorted size orange adjustable piers 3- black bridge posts 6- assorted paper items, including a sticker sheet of green and red track striping stickers, the original Aurora warranty card, the data race center instruction sheet, the set layout instruction sheet, a performance tune-up sheet, and the set drivers manual (12 pages). AFX Speed Steer Enduro Slotless Race Set #5821 This slotless AFX racing set from 1979 is ready to run. The set box is in excellent condition, with only some minor shelf wear. This set is only for use with other AFX speed steer cars. The cars include a Firebird trans-am in white with light blue, in near mint condition. Body shows no wear, and chassis has only light use. Next is a BMW 320I in yellow with orange and silver #5, missing the wing sticker but otherwise very nice. Inside the contents include: 8- 9" radius 1/4 circle curves 7- 15" straight tracks 1- 15" terminal track 2- Speed Steer controllers. Both work fine, but the blue one has a broken steering wheel so the wheel has to be turned with care. It could probably be reinforced with some epoxy ribbon or other filler, fairly easily. 1- wall pack for power, 23.5 volt AC (working) 3- orange track elevation supports Missing are only minor parts- the obstacle chicanes and pylons, and the racing flags. Tomy Ghost Racer Set #8607 This working Tomy AFX set from the early '90s is complete and ready to run. The set box has some wear, with some left side flap damage as shown. Includes styrofoam box insert. Most brands of HO slotcars will work on this set, including Tomy AFX, regular AFX, Tyco, Lifelike, and many more. The original set cars include the Corvette in red with yellow and white #8, and the ghost racer Corvette in black with yellow spider and white skull. Both cars have bodies in near mint to mint condition, with running turbo chassis with light wear. Inside the contents include 17.5 feet of track, including: 10- 9" radius 1/4 circle curves 3- 15" straights 1- 15" terminal track with computer control center built in. Tomy Speed Hook Set #9101 This working Tomy AFX set from 1991 is complete and ready to run. The set box has some wear, with some right side wear as shown, and the right side small inner flaps are missing. Most brands of HO slotcars will work on this set, including Tomy AFX, regular AFX, Tyco, Lifelike, and many more. The cars in this set are not the original super g-plus cars. Included with this set are two Tomy turbo cars, a T-bird stocker in white with blue and red in near mint condition. The second car is a Firebird trans-am in red with gold bird, with a lighted chassis. Both cars have bodies in near mint to mint condition, with running turbo chassis that have light wear. AFX Day & Night Rally Set #2160 This low-cost working starter AFX slot car set from the late '70s is complete and ready to run. The set box top has considerable surface tearing as shown. Most brands of HO slotcars will work on this set, including Magna Traction, stadard AFX, Tyco, Lifelike, and many more. The cars included in this set are the Ferrari 512M in blue with white #2, having wear marks on the white stripes as shown, and a running lighted magnatraction chassis with dry rear tires in need of replacement.
