Very nice pictures of cars, sets, as well as awards and prototypes. Also has a section in the back listing color variations which is very useful. T-Jets, vibes, AFX, Speedline, Cigarbox, and Aurora large scale are featured. Some of the pictures of the rare prototypes like the full page pic of the proposed O-scale Monstermobiles must be seen to be believed. Aurora HO Slot Car Identification and Price Guide. By John Clark, 1995, 137 pgs softbound. Written by a long time collector, this is mostly useful as a color guide, since the prices are out of date, but it still gives you relative prices for one cars average value relative to another car. Nice pictures of each Aurora HO slot car model, along with the known colors produced, plus a great section on Aurora prototypes. Expensive now, when you can find it at all; check for availability on link at right. Worth tracking down.
The Complete Color Guide to Tyco H.O. Slot Cars. This is the most complete Tyco reference available, listing all known models and color combinations of Tyco slotcars through 1996. There is also a rarity scale to help determine if you have a car which is hard to find. It is not a price guide however. 68 pages, softcover, nice color pictures. Mint unused. Not currently available.
