Greenberg's Guide to Aurora Slot Cars.  By Thomas Graham, Oct. '95, 112 pgs.  This is an excellent historical reference and should be on the shelf of every Aurora slot car collector.  Very nice pictures of cars, sets, as well as awards and prototypes.  Also has a section in the back listing color variations which is very useful.  T-Jets, vibes, AFX, Speedline, Cigarbox, and Aurora large scale are featured.  Some of the pictures of the rare prototypes like the full page pic of the proposed O-scale Monstermobiles must be seen to be believed.  About $35.00 when available; check by clicking on the link at right.
Racing and Collecting Slot Cars.  By Robert Schleicher, July 2001, paperback, 128 pages.  This legendary writer from the old Car Model magazine days has really done a lot to promote the hobby, and his awaited book is now available.  Bob examines each of the three slot-car scales produced from the 1960s to today...HO, 1/32 and 1/24-and provides advice on obtaining the most collectible models, as well as instruction for detailing car bodies and tuning chassis, motors and tires for optimum performance.  Price about $19.00.  Check for current price, availability, and condition on the link at right.
Vintage Slot Cars.  By Philippe De Lespinay, July '99, 96 pgs.  Written by one of the big names from the 60's in large scale slot car building, racing, and manufacturing, he lends his unique first hand knowledge on 1/24 scale slot cars for collectors.  Priced at about $90.00.  Click on the link at right to check availability.
Aurora HO Slot Car Identification and Price Guide.  By John Clark, 1995, 137 pgs softbound.  Written by a long time collector, this is mostly useful as a color guide, since the prices are out of date, but it still gives you relative prices for one cars average value relative to another car.  Nice pictures of each Aurora HO slot car model, along with the known colors produced, plus a great section on Aurora prototypes.  Expensive now, when you can find it at all; check for availability on link at right.  Worth tracking down.
